Ghost Writing.

Ghostwriters are just ghosts in the physical sense. They are writers that are hired but do not receive any credit for the work that they write. The author gets the credit even though he/she may have not written one word.

Reasons to Hire a Ghostwriter

There may be many reasons why you would choose to hire a ghostwriter even though it is not often publicized.

You may need to create new copy for a website, a ghostwriter (usually website designers can re-write content) without actually hiring a ghostwriter.

You may be in need of an ad to be written or a business copy, or supplying new or rewritten material for personal or professional use.

You need your autobiography to be written in your words but may not have the skill to write it yourself. This is where ghostwriters come in.

The ghostwriter is hired primarily, as a professional writer, in order to produce high-quality writing copy.

A paid professional writer is often the only source to turn to produce, well-written website copy or other quality content.

A ghost is hired to bring this about, either as an on-staff writer or as a freelancer.

When it comes to writing books. In most cases, the author of the book is the person who hires the ghostwriter. occasionally the book author may want to share some of the credit with the ghostwriter, whereby the ghostwriter may be named as a co-author or as the “editor” of the book; generally, this is listed somewhere in the acknowledgments page.
